Allan D. McLaughlin is senior vice president and chief technology officer of LexisNexis Group, U.S. He is responsible for all information infrastructure technology and customer service functions for LexisNexis, a leader in legal, news and business information services. McLaughlin was named one of the "25 Most Influential CTO's in the U.S." by InfoWorld Magazine (2002), and one of the top "100 Technology Executives in the World" by Computerworld Magazine (2003).

Prior to his current assignment, McLaughlin was managing director of Reed Elsevier Technology Group and vice president of Reed Elsevier Inc., the corporate parent of LexisNexis Group. He directed the corporate technology consulting team in Cambridge, Mass., that was responsible for facilitating the adoption of technology to enhance publishing product offerings and maximize business efficiency.
