More on Family Law/Child LawMichael Dale has written extensively on juvenile law and is the author of Family Litigation Guide with Forms and the two-volume text, Representing the Child Client, both published by Matthew Bender, as well as more than 70 articles addressing juvenile and children's law topics. As a faculty member at Nova Southeastern University Law Center, he teaches family and juvenile law, civil procedure, conflicts of laws, intensive trial advocacy, judicial administration and international litigation.
Dale is also a training instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Programs and has been the program director for the Institute's Florida Deposition program for the past twelve years. He is a certified mediator for the Circuit Court of the State of Florida and has been a consultant to a number of federal and state agencies on civil rights issues, as well as to law firms on litigation issues.
Prior to joining the Nova faculty, Dale spent time in private law practice in Phoenix, Ariz., and was executive director of the Youth Law Center in San Francisco, Calif. He also served as attorney in charge of the Special Litigation Unit of the Juvenile Rights Division of the Legal Aid Society of the City of New York.
