Rufus von Thülen Rhoades is co-author of Rhoades & Langer, U.S. International Taxation and Tax Treaties, a six-volume treatise published by Matthew Bender & Co., New York, revised four times a year. He is an international tax authority with LexisNexis and practicing attorney in all facets of tax planning and federal and state income tax matters, involving both controversy work with the Internal Revenue Service and the California Franchise Tax Board on a wide variety of issues. He was appointed by the Internal Revenue Service as one of four Californians to the Internal Revenue Service panel of arbitrators (30 nationwide).

Rebecca Morgan is the successor co-author of Matthew Bender's Tax, Estate and Financial Planning for the Elderly, and its companion forms book, as well as a co-author of LexisNexis' Planning for the Elderly in Florida. She has also written several law review articles and given numerous presentations on legal issues affecting the elderly. Morgan is the Boston Asset Management Faculty Chair in Elder Law at Stetson University.
