State v. Cole Case File, Second Edition

This is a homicide case. The State of Nita has alleged that the defendant, Walter "Wally" Cole shot and killed Donald Abbott. Cole previously had an affair with Abbott's wife, Virginia "Ginny" Abbott. The defendant was arrested on July 24, YR-1, by Inspector Jamie Stanton of the Darrow County Sheriff's Office. A preliminary hearing was thereafter filed in the District Court on November 2, YR-1, charging Cole with Murder in the First Degree, a violation of Section 101 of the Nita Criminal Code.
