State v. Tyler is also available in these versions by calling 1-800-533-1637:
The State v. Tyler case files are designed to teach pretrial skills by following a criminal case from intake interviews, through the filing of charges and probable-cause review, continuing through discovery and motion practice, and wrapping up with plea negotiations. The underlying facts are that two juveniles have been arrested for allegedly breaking into a recreational vehicle and causing damage. Each exercise builds upon the previous one, so that students - who are assigned the role of prosecuting attorney or defense attorney - can undertake the exercises in logical order and continue their roles over the duration of the course. There are three witnesses for the plaintiff and one witness for the defendant. This combo contains one copy each Defense Edition and Prosecution Edition.
