    Accessing a single issue of the New Jersey Register
    1. - From the search screen, go to the Restrict By Segment section.
    2. - Click on the drop-down box next to Select A Segment.
    3. - Select ISSUE-DATE IS.
    4. - Enter the date of the issue you are searching (for example, enter 6/19/06).
    5. - Click the Add button.
    6. - Click Search.

    Searching By Section to Verify Currency of Information
  1. If you are verifying the currency of a section found on the New Jersey Administrative Code database, you will need to search the New Jersey Register. Follow these steps:


    1. Enter the numeric section cite (for example, 3:1-7.4) in the search box.
    2. Under the Restrict By Date section:


    3. a. In the box after From, enter the date the New Jersey Administrative Code database was last updated (this is listed at the top of the document once you click on the NJ Administrative Code folder). For example, if the document indicates *** THIS FILE INCLUDES ALL REGULATIONS PUBLISHED THROUGH THE NEW JERSEY REGISTER, VOL. 38. NO. 5, MARCH 6, 2006 *** you would enter the date 03/06/2006.

      b. In the box after To enter the current date.


    4. Click on Search and hit enter.


    5. Review the results. You will see a list of NJ Register notices that fall within the time period selected. If you have adoption notices in your results set, you will need to review whether, and, if so, how, the cited section was amended.
