Redwood Toy Drive

In late 2005, our annual User Conference in New Orleans had to be relocated due to the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. Our lives and the lives of our clients and friends were directly affected by this human tragedy. In response, we asked our clients and friends to support a toy drive with the aspiration to help a few children who were also affected by Katrina’s devastation. Our hope was to bring toys to 200 children in New Orleans; however, the outpouring of generosity brought some sunshine to 716 children.

We debated whether to reprise the toy drive again in 2006. Ultimately, we relied on the same core principles, the same commitment that is the foundation for all our actions. The generosity in 2006 continued and we were able to donate over 1,400 toys. The Toy Drive is now a tradition that turns the combined generosity of our clients and employees into a joyful experience for many children.

The Redwood community has made a commitment to make a real, personal difference in the lives of many precious boys and girls.

We deeply appreciate your generous participation!
