LexisNexis® Discusses Key Identity Management Trends and Big Data in the Context of Social and Mobile Lifestyles at the ID360 Conference
Conference Features Experts from Education, Government and the Private Sector to Engage in a Wide-Ranging Look at Personal Identity with Society
ATLANTA – Kimberly Little, director of market planning, identity management, LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, was the featured keynote discussing "At the Core of the Identity Discussion: Names and Other Attributes That Make us Unique – or Not" at the second annual ID360 Conference in Austin, Texas, which started today.
In her keynote, Little referenced current events and the preliminary results of a large-scale LexisNexis identity resolution study of approximately 230 million identities.
Little is responsible for the strategy and long-term guidance of the identity management product portfolio at LexisNexis, which includes identity proofing, biometrics, and other forms of consumer authentication.
"Identity resolution, the ability to match to one unique individual, is one of the most important and least emphasized steps in the process of identity proofing and authentication," said Little. "My keynote will focus on using the right combination of core identity attributes to uniquely identify individuals."
Little also moderated a panel entitled "Identity in a Social, Mobile and Big Data World." The participants in her panel include Dave Wilkinson, Vice President, InfoSphere Development; Clarissa Cerda, EVP and General Counsel, LifeLock; Joe Ross, President, CSID; Don Thibeau, Chairman and President, Open ID Foundation; and Jeri Owen, Vice President of Marketing, MorphoTrust.
ID360 (https://identity.utexas.edu/id360) is a community of participants interested in fostering research, development and implementation of innovative solutions needed to meet current and future challenges to the detection of identity fraud, theft and misuse. Participants are encouraged to focus on understanding, describing, and securing the Identity Ecosystem, including trusted identities for individuals, organizations, and devices.
This second annual ID360 Conference invites experts and stakeholders from the Private Sector, Government and Education to engage in a comprehensive 360-degree study of identity along the five critical dimensions of identity: Law, Business, Policy, Technology, and Society.
