General indemnity in respect of specific events

Description

This precedent document is a template general indemnity in respect of specific events. It provides an unconditional, irrevocable indemnity in favour of the indemnified party, for the purposes of a specific event or occasion.

The precedent indemnity is to be executed as a deed by the indemnifier and the indemnified party or parties.
The precedent includes clauses relating to:
· the indemnity itself;
· preservation of the indemnified party's rights; and
· payments pursuant to the indemnity.
