This precedent document is a deed of assignment of a benefit of a contract. One party to a contract assigns its rights under that contract to a third party, without affecting the first-mentioned party's obligations under the contract. That is, the first-mentioned party remains bound under the contract, but it has assigned its rights under the contract to a third party.
