The Honourable Mr. Justice Stephen E. Firestone is a justice of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He is a past director of the Advocates Society and past president of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. He was previously appointed on December 1, 1997 by the provincial government to the Minister's Committee on the Designated Assessment Centre System established under the Automobile Insurance Rate Stability Act 1996 and was appointed Chair of that committee in October 2000 for a one-year term. On June 26, 2000, he was previously appointed by the provincial government to the Catastrophic Impairment Advisory Panel. He is a past member of the PAF Advisory committee. He is the co-author with the Honourable A.M. Linden of Ontario Motor Vehicle Insurance Practice Manual and of Halsbury's Laws of Canada - Motor Vehicles (2015), both published by LexisNexis Canada Inc. He is a published contributor to the 2008 Law Society of Upper Canada Special Lectures on Personal Injury Law. He has been a regular contributor and speaker at the Law Society of Upper Canada, Osgoode Hall Law School Professional Development, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and Medico-legal Society of Toronto on Tort and Statutory Accident Benefit issues.

Joseph E. Roach, B.A.(S.C.), B.Ed.(N.B.), LL.B., is Emeritus Professor of Law and a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section of the University of Ottawa, where he has been teaching property law, landlord and tenant law, and mortgage law for more than 40 years. He was the first Director of the French Common Law Program created at the University of Ottawa in 1977, and has played a key role in its development ever since, especially with respect to the French property law terminology. He has published books in both French and English on mortgage law including The Canadian Law of Mortgages, 2nd Edition, Les hypothèques immobilières en Common Law, and Le droit des propriétaires et locataires en common law.

Phil Langlotz, B.A., LL.B., is a lawyer and prosecutor in Guelph, Ontario. He received his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall in 1992 and was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1994. Mr. Langlotz has prosecuted motor vehicle and other provincial offences on behalf of the Crown and numerous municipalities in Ontario for several years. He has also appeared as defence counsel on a variety of criminal and provincial offences at all levels of Ontario court. Prior to his contribution to Halsbury's Laws of Canada Motor Vehicles, Mr. Langlotz was a contributing editor to Halsbury's Laws of Canada Environment and editor of the Canada Criminal Sentencing Digest.
