    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    Gregory Keating is a shareholder in the Boston, Massachusetts office of Littler Mendelson, the largest law firm in the United States representing management exclusively in the area of employment and labor law. He is a member of Littler's Board of Directors and co-chairs the Whistleblower and Retaliation Practice Group. He has a broad range of experience litigating employment disputes including retaliation and whistleblowing claims, wage and hour class/collective actions, and trade secret and non-competition disputes. He also represents management in labor issues, including advising clients during union elections, representing clients during unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and negotiating collective bargaining agreements.

    Mr. Keating represents a diverse spectrum of clients with particular experience in the areas of retail, health care and education. He serves as a member of the board of advisors for the National Employment Law Institute and is a member of the editorial advisory board for the ADA Compliance Guide. He has recently published pieces in The Economist, Corporate Counsel, and Society of Human Resource Management. He has appeared at National Public Radio and regularly speaks on labor and employment topics at seminars and conferences. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Keating worked as a sixth grade teacher.
