    Mitchell L. Lathrop is a partner at Duane Morris LLP, and divides his practice between the firm¿s San Diego and New York offices. He practices in the areas of insurance and reinsurance law, environmental law, securities and complex litigation.

    He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a certified civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Lathrop is a certified arbitrator by the AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society and the National Arbitration Forum. He is a member of the American and Federal bar associations, the Judge Advocates Association, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Federal Bar Council and the Environmental Assessment Association.

    Mr. Lathrop is a 1966 graduate of the University of Southern California and a graduate of the United States Naval Academy.
