    Abendroth, Thomas W.


    Thomas W. Abendroth is a partner in the law firm of Schiff, Hardin & Waite. He concentrates his practice in the fields of estate planning, federal transfer taxes, and estate and trust administration. He received his B.A. in 1981 from Ripon College and his J.D. in 1984 from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was an Executive Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif. Mr. Abendroth is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars and has authored several articles for Trust & Estates magazine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of the American and Chicago Bar Associations.

    Stetter, Debra L.


    Debra L. Stetter is a partner in the law firm of Schiff, Hardin & Waite. She concentrates her legal practice in the fields of family wealth and business planning, federal estate, gift and generation-skipping taxes, charitable foundations and trusts, and estate and trust administration. Ms. Stetter also has considerable experience in planning for individuals with special needs and disabilities. She received her A.B. in 1984 from Bryn Mawr College, her M.B.A. in 1987 from the University of Chicago Business School, and her J.D. in 1992 from Northwestern University School of Law, where she was an editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif. Ms. Stetter has lectured before both professional and lay groups on a variety of estate planning topics, and has authored several articles for Trusts & Estates magazine. She is a member of the Women's Bar Association of Illinois and the Chicago Bar Association.
