    Richard K. Leefe


    In November, 1986, Mr. Richard K. Leefe formed what is now the firm of Leefe, Gibbs & Koehler, at which he is a senior partner. Mr. Leefe received his bachelor's degree in Engineering from Louisiana State University, and his law degree from Loyola University School of Law. Mr. Leefe's litigation practice chiefly focuses on commercial, international, bankruptcy and admiralty matters in both federal and state courts. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University School of Law where he has lectured on the Federal Rules of Evidence, and its relationship to the Louisiana Code of Evidence. Mr. Leefe has published a major treatise on the Louisiana rules of trial evidence as well as other legal publications including the Evidence Workshop Handbook for General Practitioners, and Cases and Materials in Louisiana Negotiable Instrument Law. Mr. Leefe is a member of the Louisiana and American Bar Associations and is listed in numerous Who's Who publications including Who's Who in American Law and the National Register.
