    James Kinkeade is a distinguished Justice for the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals and an adjunct professor of law at Texas Wesleyan University, where he has taught ethics for more than ten years.

    Gerald Reading Powell


    Gerald Reading Powell is the Abner V. McColl Professor of Evidence at Baylor University's School of Law where he is the director of Baylor Law's renowned Practice Court Program. He himself was a top debater at Baylor during his undergraduate days, becoming champion of the Southwest Conference and qualifying for the national tournament. Professor Powell earned his J.D. from Baylor Law School and was ranked number one in his class. During that time he was a member of the national mock trial team and national moot court team as well as the executive editor of the Baylor Law Review. Following school, he joined the practice of Vial, Hamilton, Koch and Knox, becoming a partner in the firm five years later. Named a Master Teacher by Baylor University, the highest honor granted to Baylor faculty members, Professor Powell is an associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, served on the Court Reorganization Task Force and the Administration of Rules of Evidence Committee for the State Bar of Texas and presents judicial training courses for the Texas Center for the Judiciary.
