    Jennifer Chacon is a law professor at the University of California-Irvine, teaching criminal procedure and immigration law and policy. She previously taught at the University of California-Davis. A graduate of Yale Law School and Stanford University, she clerked for Circuit Judge Sidney Thomas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and practiced at Davis Polk & Wardwell. She was an outside advisor for the Immigration Transition Team of President-Elect Barack Obama, and the Convenor of the Immigration Policy Advisory Committee for his presidential campaign.
