    In Grajales v. Puerto Rico Ports Authority, the First Circuit addressed two issues: (1) whether a Rule 12(c) motion can be filed after substantial pretrial discovery; and (2) assuming such a motion could be filed, whether plaintiff's complaint satisfied the Iqbal plausibility standard.

     

    Allan Ides is the Christopher N. May Professor of Law at Loyola Law School Los Angeles.
