    Rodney A. Malpert


    Rodney A. Malpert is a partner at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP in Phoneix, and an adjunct professor at Arizona State University Law School. Mr. Malpert has been on the Board of Directors of the American Council on International Personnel. He has also been an active lobbyist for business immigration reform and is frequently sought by media for commentary, being interviewed for television news and publications such as CNN Money Magazine, Business Week, ILW Immigration Daily, IT News, Computer World, Workforce Management, Information Week and various newspapers. Mr. Malpert is a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the world. He has also made presentations at a number of consulates on behalf of clients in China, Vietnam, and India. He is a 1986 graduate of Cornell University Law School and has an M.A. in Government from Cornell.

    Amanda Petersen


    Amanda Petersen supervises all inbound and outbound immigration for Fermi Research Alliance, LLC, which manages the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) in Batavia, Illinois (a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory). She is a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of immigration topics, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta, Canada and a Law Degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Previously, she was Counsel with the law firm of Mandel, Lipton & Stevenson Ltd. in Chicago.

    Marketa Lindt


    Marketa Lindt is Counsel for the immigration group at the Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP. Ms. Lindt leads the group's I-9 compliance practice, counseling companies in defending against government workplace enforcement actions and developing policies to avoid employer sanctions. Ms. Lindt advises employers on workforce strategy and visa processing for foreign national employees, proactive immigration procedures regarding mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. She also serves as immigration counsel to individual and corporate white-collar criminal defendants. Ms. Lindt represents U.S. and multinational corporations, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, nonprofit organizations, and high net-worth individuals. She earned a J.D. and an M.A. in International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994, Order of the Barrister. Ms. Lindt has appeared many times on television and radio, has written articles on immigration law and practice, and regularly speaks at national and regional conferences.
