    The Honorable William W. Bedsworth is an appellate court justice in California's 4th district. He served as an Orange County Superior Court Judge after being elected to an open seat in 1987, and was appointed to his current seat by Governor Wilson ten years later. Previously, he served as Orange County deputy district attorney from 1972 to 1987.

    A fan of country western music and dress, Bedsworth also moonlights as a goal judge for the National Hockey League. He writes a regular column for both The Recorder and Orange County Lawyer magazines, in his own words, "to get such things out of his system."
