Sydney A. Beckman
A specialist in evidence, technology and the law, and family law (domestic relations), Sydney A. Beckman is the founding dean of the Duncan School of Law at Lincoln Memorial University, and practiced law for more than fifteen years before taking that role. He has also worked as an adjunct professor at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and a faculty member at the Charleston School of Law. Beckman has served as a municipal judge pro tem and occasionally as a visiting family law magistrate. The author of many articles and books on family law, evidence and the use of new technology, he has been selected by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyer for two consecutive years and has been featured in several magazines. Beckman holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
