    Sulds, Jonathan L.


    Jonathan L. Sulds is a partner in Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P., where he is head of the labor and employment section of the firm's New York City office. A practicing labor lawyer for almost 25 years, Mr. Sulds has tried employment law cases in New York Courts and in other states as well. He regularly appears before all major administrative agencies concerned with employment in New York. In addition, he frequently represents employers in their collective bargaining negotiations, labor arbitrations and before the National Labor Relations Board.

    Mr. Sulds received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1974, where he was Articles Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights - Civil Liberties Law Review. He earned his B.A. magna cum laude and M.A. with distinction from Colgate University in 1971.

    For 15 years, Mr. Sulds has lectured at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations program in New York, and he is a former adjunct associate professor of law at Cardozo Law School.
