    Birmingham, Alabama Attorney Margie Searcy-Alford has represented over a thousand toxic tort victims from sixteen different states. She is the principal author and editor-in-chief of Matthew Bender's four volume treatise, A Guide to Toxic Torts. She served for two years as the Chair of the Association of Trial Lawyers of American Environmental and Toxic Tort Litigation Section (now the Section on Toxic, Environmental and Pharmaceutical Tort Litigation (S.T.E.P.)) and two years as Chair of the Women Trial Lawyer's Caucus of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
