    Model Utah Jury Instructions - Civil (MUJI) help eliminate burdensome research time with easily accessible instructions to the bar. In 1993, the Litigation Section of the Utah State Bar assigned a committee to revise the largely obsolete Jury Instructions for Utah. After thousands of hours researching, drafting, and revising, the committee created Model Utah Jury Instructions - Civil. As a result, this book gives practicing attorneys a reliable source they can use for instructions that conform to Utah law.

    The 1993 Edition of MUJI including instructions, rules, annotations and notes is copyrighted by the Utah State Bar. The 2004 Publisher?s Supplement provides updated references to case annotations, statutes and the Official Judicial Council of California Civil Jury Instructions ? 2004-2005 Edition (CACI).

    The 1993 edition of Model Utah Jury Instructions--Civil is the most recent version of Utah jury instruction. The Utah Supreme Court began the process in 2003 of drafting a major revision of the Model Utah Jury Instructions, convening advisory committees to begin updating the instructions. No specific date of publication for revised instructions has yet been set by the Court.
