Paterson, Lee T.
Lee T. Paterson is an employment law attorney in the firm of Winston and Strawn. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles law school with the degree of Juris Doctor and was admitted to the Bar in 1967.
Mr. Paterson is past chair of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Personnel Management Committee and was general counsel for the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PHIRA). He is also a member of the California state council of the Society of Human Resource Managers. He is a member of the labor relations section of the American Bar Association and a management member of the Committee on Practice and Policy.
His articles on employment law have been published in legal reviews and trade journals. He has published a number of books on labor relations for management.
Mr. Paterson represents management exclusively in problems relating to the employer-employee relationship, including employee benefits, collective bargaining agreement negotiations, equal employment, and matters concerning employers, unions, and employees. He handles labor cases at all levels of both the state and federal courts, as well as cases before the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and applicable state administrative agencies. He is also a nationally recognized speaker and regularly addresses employer groups and associations throughout the United States.
