    Seelig, George G.


    George G. Seelig is a graduate of the University of Louisville, where he received a B.A. in Economics, and the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law of the same university. He has been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association since 1978, and is currently employed as Assistant Attorney General, Criminal Appeals Division, Office of the Kentucky Attorney General. His current practice involves regular appearances before the state appellate courts, and federal habeas corpus proceedings. Mr. Seelig served as Commonwealth's Attorney for eight years, and was district public defender for twelve years. In addition to authoring Kentucky Criminal Law, he has worked on revisions to the Caldwell's Kentucky Forms series, and the Sixth Circuit Criminal Handbook.
