Optimizing case files

TextMap case files require periodic maintenance to keep them performing optimally. The Case Optimizer utility defragments your case file to remove unused disk space and increase speed. You can optimize cases as often as you want. We recommend that you run the tool after you have imported 20-30 transcripts into the case file.

When you optimize case files, the case will close and re-open. Be sure to notify all users ahead of time when you plan to run this process.
