Rich Ehisen is the managing editor and publisher of the State Net Capitol Journal, an online news publication that covers state-level public policy trends across the 50 states. SNCJ is the editorial arm of LexisNexis State Net, In that role, he has written extensively on issues like immigration, health care reform, education, pension reform, and many others. Over the last two decades he has also published hundreds of articles in a wide spectrum of publications, including California Journal, Comstock’s, San Francisco, Government Technology, Sunset, Sacramento and others. Ehisen holds a Master of Arts degree in Public and Political Communication from California State University, Sacramento. He is a past president of the Sacramento Press Club and recently wrote, produced and directed is first short film, “Child’s Play.” Shockingly, it was a political satire and was filmed entirely on location at the California State Capitol.
