Antitrust And Commercial Litigator Colin Kass Joins Proskauer As Partner

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Proskauer has announced that Colin R. Kass has joined the firm as a Partner in its Antitrust Group, continuing the expansion of its antitrust capabilities and presence in Washington, D.C.

Kass has extensive experience litigating scores of cases before federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies. Over the course of his career, he has worked with clients in numerous industries on matters spanning the full scope of antitrust and unfair competition-related litigation, including: class actions; competitor suits; dealer/distributor termination suits; price discrimination cases; criminal price-fixing investigations; merger injunctions; the attainment of clearances for competitively sensitive transactions; and handling anticompetitive practices investigations. Formerly a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Kass received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and his M.A. and B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Proskauer's Antitrust Group is made up of litigators with a long history of experience in civil and criminal antitrust litigation and counseling and includes a former advisor to a U.S. FTC Commissioner and former Deputy Assistant Director in the FTC's Bureau of Competition.

Kass is also the most recent addition to Proskauer's Washington, D.C., office, which recently announced that National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Ronald Meisburg will join as Partner.
