Gregory N. Jones Joins BoyarMiller As Chairman Of Litigation Group

HOUSTON - BoyarMiller, Houston's premier boutique business and litigation law firm, has announced that seasoned attorney Gregory N. Jones has joined the firm as shareholder and chairman of the Litigation Group. With more than 30 years of high-profile trial experience, Jones' passion for litigation will serve him well as he leads BoyarMiller's growing litigation team.

Jones began his career in 1977 at Fulbright & Jaworski, where his affinity for litigation quickly formed while he honed his trial skills on insurance defense work. In 1980, Jones started his own firm, which later evolved into Franklin, Cardwell & Jones, of which he was managing shareholder, to focus more on commercial litigation work, specializing in contracts, shareholder disputes, corporate finance, securities and energy litigation.

Jones is a graduate of St. Mary's University School of Law. He holds a M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and has a bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Mississippi and Texas. Jones is a member of both the Houston and Texas Trial Lawyers Associations and has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts. He has argued cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. In addition, he is board certified in civil litigation.

Joining Jones at BoyarMiller as a litigation associate is Edgar Saldivar. Saldivar's practice focuses on tort and commercial litigation in state and federal court as well as international business transactions and litigation involving Latin American entities and governments. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy (cum laude) from Harvard University and a J.D. from University of Houston Law Center. While at Harvard, Saldivar was a Mellon Fellowship Scholar and was on the Dean's List. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Texas, he is also affiliated with the North American Kant Society, Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy and serves on the American Heart Association's Houston Policy Council.

BoyarMiller's unique strategy and vision, as well as dedication to closely identifying and partnering with clients, distinguishes the firm as a practice with purpose. The Houston-based law firm is comprised of two practice groups: business and litigation. Visit for more information.
