DALLAS - Andrews Kurth LLP has announced that trial attorney John H. McDowell Jr. has joined the firm as a partner in Dallas. McDowell will practice in the firm's Litigation section.
McDowell represents clients in complex commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes. He also counsels clients on antitrust, intellectual property and technology issues.
McDowell earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Stanford University. He is a former president of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and director of the Dallas Bar Association and holds and has held leadership positions in the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.
