Thompson Hine Elects 7 New Partners

CLEVELAND -Thompson Hine LLP elected seven lawyers to the firm's partnership effective Jan. 1, 2012.

The new partners are:

Erin M. Alkire (Business Litigation - Cincinnati) - Alkire focuses her practice on business and corporate litigation involving financial service institutions, commercial and contract disputes, business transactions, and tort claims. She was selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyer magazine in 2010 and 2011. Alkire received her J.D. from The College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 2001 and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Clemson University in 1998.

William J. Hubbard (Product Liability Litigation, Construction - Cleveland) - Hubbard focuses his practice on litigation and dispute resolution concerning commercial, consumer and building products; injuries to persons and property; and claims involving owners, contractors, architects, engineers, construction managers and other construction professionals. Hubbard was selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyer magazine in 2010 and 2011. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2003, his M.S. from the University of Michigan in 2000 and his B.A., with honors, from The College of Wooster in 1997.

Adam R. Nazette (Commercial & Public Finance - Cleveland) - Nazette focuses his practice on commercial financing transactions, primarily representing banks and other financial institutions as well as public and private companies in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities. Nazette has documented and negotiated numerous syndicated, multi-bank senior credit facilities and asset-based facilities. He has experience in cross-border transactions, multi-currency transactions, acquisition financing transactions, real estate financing transactions, subordinated credit facilities and foreign currency transactions. Nazette was selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyer magazine in 2009 and 2010. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2003, his M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management in 2003 and his B.S., cum laude, from Miami University in 2000.

Troy S. Prince (Intellectual Property - Cleveland) - Prince is a registered patent attorney who works with companies on all facets of intellectual property law, from initial identification and protection of innovations and trademarks to transfer and licensing and enforcement of intellectual property rights. He represents clients in intellectual property litigation, licensing and sales of intellectual property, outsourcing of software services, and procuring patents and trademarks. Prince has a strong, practical background in electrical control systems, software and computer systems, microelectromechanical devices, biomedical devices and nanotechnology. Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Prince practiced as an engineer and is a named inventor of over 25 issued U.S. patents. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2002. He received his M.S. in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1998, where he also earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering, cum laude, in 1994.

Alan S. Ritchie (Construction, Real Estate - Cleveland) - Ritchie practices in both the transactional construction and real estate practice areas. He is also a member of the firm's wholly owned construction and finance consulting company, Project Management Consultants. Ritchie's construction practice includes project delivery counseling, the preparation of all "front-end" documents and creating risk management and insurance programs on behalf of owners, developers, architects, engineers, construction managers, contractors and subcontractors, and participation in dispute resolution of claims. His real estate practice includes the representation of public owners, lenders, borrowers, developers and other corporations in connection with public/private development transactions; zoning and project entitlement; public and private finance; wind, solar and other renewable energy transactions; new market and historical tax credit transactions; build-to-suit and sale leaseback transactions; acquisitions and sales; development; leasing; and other general corporate real estate matters. Ritchie received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Cleveland State University in 1994 and his B.S. from Bowling Green State University in 1990.

Anthony J. Rospert (Business Litigation - Cleveland) - Rospert helps clients overcome legal obstacles in order to protect their assets and manage litigation risk in pursuit of their strategic goals. He focuses his practice on complex business and corporate litigation involving financial service institutions, commercial and contract disputes, indemnification claims, shareholder actions, business transactions, class actions, regulatory enforcement and tax controversies. Rospert received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School in 2003 and his B.A., magna cum laude, from John Carroll University in 2000.

Jonathon H. Vinocur (Corporate Transactions & Securities - Cleveland) - Vinocur focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. In addition, he provides ongoing advice to boards of directors on various matters, including acquisition and divestiture opportunities, capital raising strategies and corporate governance obligations. Vinocur received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2003 and his B.A. from The Ohio State University in 2000.
