Mealey's Elder Law - Agreement Requiring Payment For Assisted Living Services Enforceable, Panel Says

HARTFORD, Conn. - A Connecticut appeals panel on June 25 reversed a lower court's ruling that a resident agreement that requires payment for the receipt of assisted living services was unconscionable, finding that the terms of the agreement are enforceable (Emeritus Senior Living v. Denise Lenore, No. AC 40078, Conn. App., 2018 Conn. App. LEXIS 262).
