South Carolina Federal Judge Tosses HRT Case Because Prescribing Doctor Died

BEAUFORT, S.C. - A South Carolina federal judge on March 7 granted summary judgment in a hormone replacement therapy case because the plaintiff's prescribing doctor died four years ago and the plaintiff cannot show proximate causation (Lydia Sauls v. Wyeth, Inc., et al., No. 9:04-22297, D. S.C.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 29871).
