FL: Trial Lawyers Group Says NCCI Unable to Provide Objective Data on Workers' Comp Rates

TALLHASSEE, FL - The Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers) has urged the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation to consider terminating its exclusive arrangement with the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI), which files consolidated rate requests for workers’ compensation each year, and to use instead the services of an independent actuary to analyze the data collected by NCCI.
