OH: Injured Workers' Lawsuit Claims BWC Gives Bank a Cut of Workers' Comp Payments

CLEVELHAND, OH - Courthouse News Service reports that a class action lawsuit brought by lead plaintiff Michael Cirino, an injured worker, alleges that the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, which requires Cirino to use a Chase Bank debit card to collect his workers' compensation payments every 14 days, results in reduced payment amounts because the bank charges fees for each transaction in excess of one per month.
