Biography:
An experienced financial services lawyer providing legal advice and guidance to clients in relation to their financial services business - AFSL compliance; regulatory advice and management; new product offerings; AML/CTF Act and Rules compliance; wealth management legal advice; ACL advice and compliance.
Highlights include:
• assisting with establishing a Bitcoin retail fund and successfully registering it with ASIC (May 2020) – one of the first of its kind in Australia;
• assisting with a project for converting Bitcoin retail fund into an exchange-traded fund to be listed on the National Stock Exchange;
• assisting with the establishment of two retail crypto exchange traded funds;
• providing legal consulting services to an Australian Bitcoin mining and digital asset infrastructure business in relation to all facets of their legal compliance, assisting their general counsel – then assisting the company on its successful listing on the NASDAQ.
