Biography:

Lyn brings over 20 years of experience in corporate law, governance and technology. She is passionate about the intersection of law with technology, and has a strong interest in the implications of artificial intelligence, machine learning, new biometric analysis tools and other related areas.

As the Practice Leader for Data & Privacy in Holding Redlich’s corporate and commercial group, Lyn advises on data and privacy matters and complex corporate transactions. She develops and implements privacy and information security policies for her clients, negotiates contracts for the effective use of information assets and conducts privacy impact assessments. She also manages the reporting, notification and rectification processes following a data breach incident and works with stakeholder groups to design strategies to minimise future risks. Lyn also provides guidance on marketing communications to ensure compliance with the Privacy Act and the Spam Act.

On the governance side, Lyn advises on directors’ duties and other practical issues for both listed and unlisted companies. Her expertise includes auditing existing corporate governance practices and procedures, developing policies, and assisting management in practical implementation.

With a strong commitment to providing clients with comprehensive support for their privacy needs, Lyn combines her legal expertise and strategic insight to deliver tailored solutions that help organisations effectively manage their legal risks in the digital economy.
