Biography:
Practice lead for ctrl:cyber’s privacy, data risk and AI governance function, Melanie works with Australia’s most prominent brands and government agencies to implement data related strategies that address the risks and opportunities of the digital age.
Prior to working for ctrl:cyber (and its predecessor, elevenM), Melanie built and ran privacy governance programs for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and the My Health Record system.
Former President of IAPP ANZ, Melanie has also served on the advisory boards of InfogovANZ and Hello Sunday Morning.
