Biography:
Tim Chan is an insurance lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright in Sydney. He advises on corporate, regulatory and contentious legal matters in the insurance sector. He is a recommended lawyer in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2020 to present) and a winner of the Insurance Business Australia Five Star Innovators Awards (2022-2023).
Tim has vast experience advising insurers, brokers, banks, InsurTechs and Lloyd's market participants on distribution, alternative risk transfer structures, transactions and insurance & reinsurance coverage matters. He regularly contributes thought leadership on insurance law in the Australian Insurance Law Bulletin, the Insurance Law Journal and the ANZIIF Journal.
