Biography:

Trevor is a non-contentious construction lawyer specialising in major infrastructure and engineering projects. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Trevor had a career as an engineer working in Australia, Germany and England, and he has also acted as a superintendent on major engineering projects. He acts for government, principals and contractors across a variety of industries, including the transport sector (airports, seaports, road and rail), energy (renewable and conventional energy as well as transmission and distribution), resources (including mining, mineral processing, hydrogen production) telecommunications infrastructure, social infrastructure (including hospital and university projects) and other significant infrastructure.

Trevor was the inaugural winner of the Society of Construction Law Australia’s Brooking Prize and the Law Council of Australia’s Tom Yuncken Award. He is a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne where he teaches Construction Law and Advanced Construction Law. His articles are widely published in domestic and international journals and have been cited with approval in several Supreme Court and Court of Appeal cases.
