    After graduating with a Bachelor of Law and Arts (with distinction majoring in Political and International Studies) from Murdoch University in early 2007, Sarah joined O'Sullivan Davies to work in the paralegal section of the firm.

    During her studies, Sarah worked for Minter Ellison Lawyers and gained international experience at the UK firm of Mustoe Shorter Solicitors. She also spent part of her legal studies at the University of Waterloo, Canada.

    In 2005, Sarah was awarded a High Distinction for her paper "International Human Rights and Vedic Hinduism: Are there irreconcilable differences?" which was recommended for publication in the South Pacific Law Journal.

    Peta is well-recognised in the highly specialised field of cartel and competition litigation, and with an established track record leading complex litigation, including class actions. Her practice includes advising clients on competition regulatory investigation and enforcement matters, including liaising with international counsel in global investigations and working closely with economic and other experts.

    Peta advises on the application of the anti-competitive conduct, consumer protection and access provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and related state legislation. She has acted in the Federal and State Local and Supreme Courts and appeared before ICAC at other state tribunals. She is a regular contributor to debates on regulatory reform.

    Annette Hughes is a Commercial Litigation partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, where she leads the firm's national Product Liability Practice Group. Annette is also on the firm's Executive Leadership Team and Chairs its Diversity Council. Her Product Liability experience is truly international, as she was a partner in the Product Liability group at US firm Sedgwick and Australian firm Allens (2001 - 2011), prior to taking leadership of the Corrs Product Liability Group.

    Annette has acted for many domestic and internationally renowned brands, helping them to strategically and effectively manage their product issues from risk management and regulatory matters (compliance, investigations, recalls, etc) through to multi-jurisdictional litigation, and class actions.     Kwok specialises in advising on complex and strategic contracts in the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors. Kwok has significant experience in advising on a broad range of TMT contracts and issues, including outsourcing agreements, master service agreements, software development agreements, licensing and maintenance contracts, cloud computing arrangements, network rollout, interconnect, telecommunications and wholesale broadband agreements.     Biography:

    Greg was admitted as a solicitor in 1975. He worked in a variety of litigation roles in private practice before joining the New South Wales Department of Industrial Relations as a legal officer in 1979. That year he also gained a Master of Laws degree (honours) from the University of Sydney.

    Greg served as Deputy Industrial Registrar from 1983 to 1991 and as Industrial Registrar from 1991 to 1999.

    As a consequence, Greg has extensive experience of the New South Wales Industrial Relations system.

    Greg joined the firm in 2000 and has since been involved in all areas of the firm's practice. He has been involved in major litigation in the Industrial Court of New South Wales, and has extensively advised on issues relating to the contract of employment and employment law generally.

    Greg has advised registered organisations (both employee and employer associations) on rules and registration issues, and has been involved in litigation at all levels (State and Federal Industrial Tribunals, the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and the High Court) on a variety of matters, including industrial relations issues, employment, restraints of trade and discrimination matters.

    Ben Majoe, Special Counsel, in the Family Law division at HHG Legal Group, is experienced in complex property settlement and parenting matters.

    Ben’s extensive experience includes acting for clients in matters involving complex financial issues (married and de facto partners), contentious child related issues, financial agreements and binding child support agreements. Ben uses family mediation as an alternative means of resolving disputes, but is an experienced advocate with a history of achieving positive outcomes for his clients.

    Before joining HHG Legal Group in 2015, Ben built a strong 20-year career practicing in areas of Family Law and Insurance Defense. He has an impressive background of international legal experience having practised in private firms in Hawaii for a number of years. These positions saw him resolve child related matters, including interstate relocation and restraining order matters, in addition to insurance defence matters, including wrongful death claims.

    Ben was admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2011 and Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2006; prior to which he was admitted to the State and Federal Courts in Hawaii in 1995 – shortly before he began his legal career. Highly qualified with Honours in a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Ben also has a Juris Doctor from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

    Matthew Swinn is a partner of King & Wood Mallesons and a recognised IP litigation specialist with a wealth of experience in the manufacturing, life sciences and consumer sectors, among others. Matthew is also the Managing Partner for KWM's Dispute Resolution & Tax teams.

    Matthew is well known for his patent litigation expertise, having acted in patent disputes for some of the world's largest companies. His expertise also spans the entire range of intellectual property issues including contentious trade mark, copyright, trade secrets and consumer protection/passing-off matters.
