Biography:
Blake Dawson is a barrister specialising in criminal law.
Blake was previously senior in-house counsel for the New Zealand Police Prosecution Service, advising and representing the Police on a wide variety of prosecution related matters. He has also worked as Crown Counsel with the Crown Law Office, as a prosecutor based in Wellington and Christchurch, and began his career as a litigation lawyer.
Blake also writes for the LexisNexis publications Abbott & Thompson District Courts Practice (Criminal) and Garrow & Turkington's Criminal Law.
