Al Bayan, 22 July 2026: Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs has confirmed the availability of visit visas for relatives and friends, offering flexible durations and multiple entry options through streamlined digital procedures.
The authority explained that applicants can choose visas valid for 30, 60, or 90 days, with the possibility of extending stays up to 120 days from the date of first entry, subject to approved regulations. Applications require selecting the visit type (single or multiple entry), submitting a recent photo, a valid passport copy (minimum six months validity), and documents proving kinship or justifying the visit.
Requests can be submitted via the directorate’s official website, the “Dubai Now” app, or through “Amer” customer happiness centres, where fees are paid and procedures completed. Processing time is approximately 48 hours once requirements are met.
