Okaz, 16 June 2026: Saudi Arabia has approved amendments to its counter-terrorism and terrorism financing framework to strengthen national security and financial crime controls.
The Cabinet approved amendments to the Saudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 92/1439 on the Approval of the Law on Combating Terrorism and Its Financing, as well as its implementing regulations. The changes form part of ongoing efforts to enhance the Kingdom's legal framework for preventing terrorism financing, improving enforcement mechanisms, and aligning regulatory measures with evolving security and financial crime risks.
