Qatar: MCIT Launches New Hukoomi Platform Under Digital Factory Initiative

Qatar Tribune, 17 June 2026: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has unveiled the enhanced Hukoomi platform, the first outcome of the Digital Factory initiative, designed to accelerate digital transformation and improve access to government services.

The new edition of Hukoomi introduces the Life Moments concept, enabling users to access services linked to key stages in their lives, such as marriage, winter camping, owning a falcon or boat, benefiting from social welfare, and managing retirement. Additional Life Moments and services will be added progressively.

Minister Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai stated that the launch reflects Qatar’s commitment to achieving the objectives of the Digital Agenda 2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030. The platform has evolved from an informational portal into an integrated interactive system, allowing users to complete government services directly online.

Technical enhancements include Single Sign-On, multilingual support, advanced search capabilities, and a virtual assistant. Users can log in via the National Authentication System (Tawtheeq) to manage personal profiles, track transactions, request support, and monitor registered assets.

The platform also introduces a new visual identity inspired by Qatar’s cultural heritage, combining purple tones from Bin Ghanam Island, maroon from the national flag, and desert-inspired shades to reflect the country’s roots and future aspirations.
