Sharjah24, 28 June 2026: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has completed the development and update of its digital platform for government entities, advancing e‑services and supporting the emirate’s digital transformation vision.
The initiative aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to achieve comprehensive digital transformation. The upgraded platform is part of SEWA’s strategic plan to adopt advanced technologies and create a smart work environment that enhances efficiency and transparency.
Engineer Abdulrahim Al Zarouni, Director of Shared Services, explained that the platform empowers government institutions to access a unified suite of technical and administrative services. It streamlines processes such as monitoring contractors and consultants, tracking service connection requests, overseeing construction projects, and obtaining technical permits.
The system also provides precise data to support infrastructure‑related decisions, contributing to Sharjah’s leadership as a sustainable and environmentally friendly global city.
