A federal appeals court upholds a CALIFORNIA law that requires new models of semi-automatic handguns to stamp identifying information on bullet casings when fired. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the law was a reasonable “real world solution” to combatting gun violence (KCRA [SACRAMENTO]).
OHIO Gov. John Kasich (R) vetoes SB 221, which would have allowed people whose businesses are adversely affected by an agency rule to request a legislative panel review it and possibly get it declared invalid (CLEVELAND.COM).
