Appealing Trademark Refusals
This checklist highlights requirements for appealing a trademark refusal issued by an examining attorney of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). These appeals can be made to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) (in the form of an ex parte appeal), the Federal Circuit, or the U.S. District Court.
