Construction Liquidating Agreements: When, Why, and How to Use Them
A liquidating agreement is a settlement agreement between parties that includes an agreement to pass through some or all of the claims to a third party. In the construction sphere, liquidating agreements are often executed between the general contractor and a subcontractor to enable the subcontractor's claim against the project owner.
